Join us for interactive, family directed programming at Habitat Hollow. Family Night in the Hollow features a variety of activities sure to appeal to all ages. Program features include professional storytellers and musicians, keeper talks, animal shows, craft tables, face painting and much more. All ages are welcome. No pre-registration is required.

Habitat Hollow Poetry Contest 

Join in Habitat Hollow's first ever poetry contest!  This year's contest theme is "Anything Amphibian"!  Submissions will be accepted in three age categories: ages 5-7, 8-10 and 11-13.  Each poem must have the author's name, age and phone number clearly written on the submission.

 

Drop off your poem at the My House exhibit during Family Night in the Hollow from June 25 through August 6.  First and second place will be awarded in each category during Family Night in the Hollow on August 20th.  Winning authors will have a chance to read their poem aloud during a program, will receive a small prize for participation and will have their poem on display inside the My House exhibit for three weeks.  For more information call (614) 724-3602 or email habitathollow@columbuszoo.org.
