What: Three hour program designed to introduce your preschooler to wildlife and the process of being away from home for
the first time.
Who: Children ages three to five years. All participants must be completely potty trained (NO PULL UPS).
Where: Conservation Education Building
When: One three hour class per week, for four weeks. See below for specific dates. Ask us about YEAR ROUND CLASSES!
Time: Morning sessions 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Afternoon sessions 1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Cost: Member - $80/session*
Non-member - $90/session*

Are you looking for a fun-filled experience for your preschooler?  Our ZooKids program is specially designed to offer your 3-, 4- or 5-year-old a stimulating opportunity to learn about the wonders of the animal kingdom in a socially interactive environment.  It is a perfect supplement to other preschool and kindergarten programs.

During each half-day visit, your ZooKid will learn about a different animal, explore the wilds of the Zoo, enjoy a refreshing snack and create a special art project designed for little hands.  A friendly critter will pop in for an up-close visit and a story or movie will wrap things up!

Topics are not repeated from September through May and are based on seasonal availability of animals on display.  During the winter months, indoor animals and exhibits are emphasized.

All children must be completely toilet trained to attend ZooKids (no pull-ups please).  You may register your child for three months if you prefer.  If you are interested in registering for the entire year, September through May, please mark the appropriate box on the registration form.  Once placed into class, your child is guaranteed a spot for the same day and time for the entire year.
