Assembly Outreach Programs

What: Assembly Programs for large groups with five to seven animals and props designed to assist teachers in fulfilling the Ohio Academic Content Standards.
Who: Kindergarten – Grade six with a maximum of 250 students for each session
Where: September - April
When: At your school
Time: 45 minute presentation
Cost:
$200 for first program and $150 for each consecutive program at the same location.
Outside Franklin Co.:  Additional $20 mileage fee + $1 per mile one way

Classroom Outreach Programs

What: Classroom Programs for smaller groups with three to five animals and props designed to assist teachers in fulfilling the Ohio Academic Content Standards.
Who: Kindergarten – Grade 12 with a maximum of 40 students for each session
Where: September - April
When: At your school
Time: 30 – 45 minute presentation
Cost:
$100 for first program and $75 for each consecutive program at the same location.
Outside Franklin Co.:  Additional $20 mileage fee + $1 per mile one way

Let the Zoo Come to You – Free of Charge!
 
Kindergarten through Grade 6 students will be amazed by the feathered stars of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium’s bird show.
 
This special program is only offered to Franklin County schools with a federal and reduced lunch program of greater than 30 percent and is designed to assist teachers in fulfilling the Ohio Academic Content Standards.
 
Maximum of 250 students per session.
