The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium sponsors annual paid and unpaid internships for third or fourth year college students interested in interning spring and/or summer semesters/quarters. Other opportunities may occur throughout the year since positions available vary depending on department needs. Departments that have hired interns in the past are: Marketing, Human Resources, Information Technology and Visitor Services. See below for current positions available.

 

The Human Resources Department administers the Business Internship program at the Zoo, but interns will report directly to individual supervisors in the various departments. The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium does not provide housing for our interns. It is the responsibility of the intern to arrange and pay for housing and all other associated costs of living for the duration of the internship
