Columbus Zoo to Hire Seasonal Staff

POWELL, Ohio – The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium will begin its annual hiring process for the 2010 season with a job fair on Thursday, March 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Open interviews will be held at the Zoo's Activity Pavilion for a variety of positions at the Zoo, Zoombezi Bay water park and Safari Golf Club.
Each year the Zoo hires over 1,000 seasonal team members. "We are looking for high-energy, friendly and motivated individuals who are at least 16 years old to help give our guests the best experience possible when they visit" said Steph Mizer, Director of Human Resources.

Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is open 363 days a year 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. after Labor Day. General admission is $12.99 for adults, $7.99 for children ages 2 to 9 and seniors 60+. Children under 2 and Columbus Zoo members are free.
