Powell, OH – The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium will offer half off admission through this last weekend of February, 2010. Guests visiting the Zoo in February will receive their admission ticket at a lower price. Admission rates are; $6 for General Admission, $3.50 for children ages 2 to 9 and senior citizens 60 years and over. Children under two years of age and Columbus Zoo members will continue to be free.
Worried about the cold? Don’t be. Visitors can view a variety of animals at indoor locations including the gorilla building, Bob & Evelyn’s Roadhouse, Manatee Coast, the reptile house, Discovery Reef and Asia Quest.
If you’re experiencing cabin fever the Zoo is the place for you. With extensive walking paths for guests to enjoy the Zoo is the perfect place to shed some of that winter weight.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is open 363 days of the year 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. after Labor Day. General admission is $12 for adults, $7 for children ages 2 to 9 and seniors 60+. Zoo admission is half-price during the months of January and February 2010.
