Go Wild For The Arts At The Columbus Zoo

Powell, OH – Join the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium for an evening of art and animals as they host the ninth annual Go Wild! for the Arts event on July 29, 2011 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
The evening kicks off with an art reception showcasing the works of several local artists, including enrichment paintings by some of our very own Zoo animals, followed by a concert featuring the Westerville Symphony Orchestra.
Masters of Ceremony Cabot Rea and David Weaver will host as Director William Boggs helps bring Waters Edge Events Park to life with the sounds of “Oh Joy! Oh Rapture! The Best of Gilbert and Sullivan” featuring some of most talented opera singers in the Columbus area.
Adult general admission tickets, which include Zoo admission all day, art reception admission and concert, are $25 if purchased in advance and $35 on the day of the event. Tickets for children can be purchased for $10. Guests looking to upgrade their evening can purchase patron admission tickets for $75. Patron admission tickets include all day Zoo admission, a pre-concert dinner, and two drink tickets.

The Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is open 363 days a year 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. after Labor Day. General admission is $14.00 for adults, $9.00 for children ages 2 to 9 and $10.00 for seniors 60+. Children under 2 and Columbus Zoo members are free.
