Powell, OH – Beat the heat this summer and celebrate Christmas in July at the coolest place in Central Ohio, Zoombezi Bay.  The yuletide festivities will take place everyday from July 23 until August 1.
Featuring holiday decorations, Caribbean carols, and more among the many tides and slides of Zoombezi Bay, Christmas in July is sure to be a celebration that all will enjoy.
Tropical Santa will be hanging out in his “Bermuda Best” to remind the kids that he’s always looking for who is naughty or nice, and he’s worked his magic to bring the only thing missing from this holiday celebration – snow.  Flurries will be falling daily at Castaway Isle.
Also in keeping with the Christmas spirit, the two Dive-In Movies shown during the celebration will be of holiday themes.  “Elf” will be shown on July 23, followed by Dr. Seuss’ “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” on July 30.  Guests will enjoy meeting Rudolph’s reindeer friends during the preshow activities.  Pre-show activities take place at the Wild Tides wave pool and begin at 8 p.m. The movies begin at 9 p.m.
Regular admission rates apply and the event is free for Zoombezi Bay season pass holders.  Visit for discounted rates on general admission tickets and season passes.
Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is open 363 days of the year. Zoombezi Bay is open daily through Labor Day.
