Experience a unique visit from the World’s Wild Wonders. Never the same program twice a selection of mammals, birds and reptiles will WOW students of all ages.
*This special program is offered for Franklin County schools with a federal free and reduced lunch program participation of greater than 30 percent.
What: Assembly program for large groups with 5-7 animals and props. Program covers Ohio Academic Content Standards.
Who: Kindergarten – Grade six with a maximum of 250 students for each session
Where: In your school’s gymnasium, cafeteria, or other large multi-purpose space
When: Program offered September – May
Time: One hour presentation
Cost: This program is offered for Franklin County schools with a federal free and reduced lunch program participation of greater than 30 percent. Or $300 for first program and $200 for each consecutive program at the same location. Outside Franklin County: $100 mileage fee

Life Sciences Standard
B5. Investigate observable features of plants and animals that help them live in different kinds of places.
Grade 1 Indicator
A1. Explore that organisms, including people, have basic needs which include air, water, food, living space and shelter.
B3. Explore that humans and other animals have body parts that help to seek, find, and take in food when they are hungry.
Grade 2 Indicators
A1. Explain that animals, including people, need air, water, food, living space, and shelter; Plants need air, water, and nutrients, living space and light to survive.
B2. Identify that there are many different environments that support different kinds of organisms.
B3. Explain why organisms can survive only in environments that meet their needs.
B6. Investigate the different structures of plants and animals that help them live in different environments.

B2. Relate animal structures to their specific survival functions.

A5. Describe how organisms interact with one another in various ways.
